East Bay

There is so much that makes East Bay so different, and yes, better than anywhere else. Here at Carousel, we don't think there are many cities on earth where one can live and go hiking in the morning, surfing in the afternoon, and have dinner in a skyscraper all in one day; yet this can be done here. If that's not your thing, you can hike up a waterfall at dawn, spend the afternoon at one of the oldest outdoor markets in the country, and watch live professional sports in the evening. From bookstores and brewpubs to fairy-tale giants and world-famous miniature parks, it's hard to get bored here, because there is something for everyone.
